In the small town of Opa-Locka, just north of Miami, Florida, machines that delivered the immortal sounds of this Bob Marley, hombres italianos solteros fotos Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, and local heroes 2 Live Crew are presently springing back to life. The former center of vinyl record manufacturing for world-renowned reggae label Studio One is operational once more, and participating in the explosive resurgence of vinyl records.

SunPress Vinyl is housed in the former Final Vinyl factory, founded in the 1970s by reggae pioneer Joe Gibbs. As the U.S. base of Gibbs’ operations, and later, Studio One’s Clement ‘Sir Coxsone’ Dodd’s main pressing facility, the plant issued classic works by rencontre loisir toulouse Toots and the Maytals, the more helpful hints Skatalites, our website Dennis Brown, and site de rencontre pour pauvre Sugar Minott.

Reggae’s influence on contemporary music is indisputable, with vinyl records playing a key part of the process; we are proud to continue this rich tradition, honoring the history of our location with a bespoke record pressing services.

SunPress Vinyl’s founders are musicians, producers, and engineers, with credits on recordings by a diverse group of artists such as dating at harvard law school Pet Shop Boys, Britney Spears, De La Soul, and Arto Lindsay. We are committed to delivering top quality vinyl records to independent and major artists and labels, locally and worldwide.

Head engineer Chris Moss, a long-time vinyl pressing veteran, ensures that the machinery is performing at top form under the most demanding quality control. The venerable Headley Haslam, who pressed almost every record during the Gibbs and Studio One years, is now back at the pressing post he first filled in the 1970s.
